SABIAS QUE: Solo una vez en la historia se ha finalizado el año escolar de forma anticipada. Esto ocurrió en Arkansas, EEUU. Y el hecho es conocido como The “Lost Year” de 1958-59.
El Gobierno busca desesperadamente que las movilizaciones sean depuestas, amenazando a los estudiantes con la pérdida del año. Sin embargo, por varias razones que se detallan a continuación, esto no puede pasar más allá de un mero amedrentamiento hacia el movimiento estudiantil.
- El Gobierno no tiene la capacidad de aumentar el número de matrículas para primero medio al doble de aquí al próximo año.
- Los Municipios tendrán una grave crisis económica por no recibir las subvenciones del gobierno.
- El Gobierno no podrá tolerar que una generación completa de estudiantes no entre a las Universidades que tanto lucro produce.
- La pérdida del año permitiría que los estudiantes no tuvieran motivo para deponer las Tomas.
En los próximos días vamos a ver cómo se cumple el plazo para que se depongan las tomas. Tenemos un Gobierno intransigente que amedrenta a los estudiantes de forma inusitada para que se rompa el movimiento social más grande en la historia de Chile, cuando, por primera vez, la ciudadanía es la que avanza democráticamente hacia una nueva Constitución Política. Vamos a ver si Piñera es capaz de apoyar la pérdida del año escolar, y de paso, hacer que el movimiento alcance ribetes históricos a nivel mundial, poniéndose a la altura del movimiento de Arkansas, además teniendo que lidiar con la quiebra de Universidades y Municipios. Ciertamente es algo de lo cual La Moneda no se podría recuperar y es el motivo para creer firmemente, que el cierre anticipado del año escolar, no es más que una medida desesperada e impracticable, que no pasará más allá de solo amenazas.
